Stubbies2003 Posted June 12, 2020 Share Posted June 12, 2020 I just posted on the other subject covering FLIR video issue but the middle picture from above is exactly what I saw when I was flying OB after the 10 June patch and had pointed the FLIR sensor from a Mav F at a smoke marker on the ground the map creator had put there. I can have the bug during a flight, read the track and not have it anymore, then read it again and have it... There have already been dozens of posts on this issue for over a year, and I personally have already summarized on several of these topics what the community has found: - Prob appeared with version 2.5.4.29167. - Before version 2.5.6 you could set the prob by setting the chimney smoke density option to 0, but no longer in 2.5.6. (This means that the day the stable version goes to 2.5.6, the bug will be there too, and not "fixable".) - It is clearly the smoke that generates this prob, even missile smoke can saturate the flickering image. - Deleting "FXO" and "Metashader" directories and cleaning the "direct X shader cache" does nothing. Padonis Posted June 12, 2020 Share Posted June 12, 2020 (edited) Here is my TRACK. Red smoke dazzles TGP FLIR, depending on the time of day, it may be blue smoke. The smoke coming from the fire (heat) should be more dazzling than a smoke candle. If "track" does not work, I add two videos with this problem. It has been like this since the beginning of the year, it makes flights very difficult. Reported many times. The problem manifests itself differently depending on the time of day and the sun.
