pappavis Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Exactly. 1. Simply record a track every time you fly or want a tacview. (yes when you do this the "recover" feature is removed, but I think learning what corresponded in a fight is more important than respawning quicker. Its possible to record a track in realtime, without the need for replayig a trackfile. 1. Ensure that tacview.lua is in your 'export'-directory. 2. Then append this code to the end of export.lua dofile("./Config/export/tacview.lua") VOILA! No need to replay a 1,5hrs trackfile coz its TacView recording as you fly. No i dont use it for cheating, though that saves me a lotta time. met vriendelijke groet, Михель "умный, спортсмен, комсомолетс" [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] [TABLE]SPECS: i9-9900K 32gigs RAM, Geforce 2070RTX, Creative XFi Fata1ity, TIR5, Valve Index & HP Reverb, HOTAS Warthog, Logitech G933 Headset, 10Tb storage.[/TABLE]
golfsierra2 Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Stuff LUA exports are; PilotName PlayerPlaneId IndicatedAirSpeed TrueAirSpeed AltitudeAboveSeaLevel AltitudeAboveGroundLevel ... target cross section square meters Two turtle doves A partridge in a pear tree. And more....... of every aircraft and missile on the server. As Kluky said... an all seeing eye. Well, but isn't most of the data (or even all) transmitted by the game engine itself anyway ? How else could a client create a complete simulation with all the other aircraft positions / data ? I think, that with the host system as a node, all data are shared between all participants of an online mission anyway. And this is beside the export LUA for Tacview. If you wanted to see all other aircraft, one could join with a second IP and using a second client with a modified script allowing external view or Map view despite the settings are disabled at the host system. I think, this is possible to achieve, if somebody really has that much 'criminal energy' to do so... kind regards, Raven.... [sigpic]http://www.crc-mindreader.de/CRT/images/Birds2011.gif[/sigpic]
hitman Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Cheaters come and go anyway. Cus they still get pwned. Yes. All cheaters get pwned because they show up and kill every living thing in sight without getting touched. Stop with this.
cool_t Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 I agree. You certainly have some of the skills to be a lawyer. I took the bait, no doubt about it. Hope you feel good about that. The difference here for me though is I only post when I think its relevant. To promote Lock On and protect what I am proud of. I dont troll forums looking for a fight. Ive got better things to do. :)
cool_t Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 I rarely fly in the 169th, and I am never lonely when I do... Why not? its very regulated and watched. There are lots of good friends there. :)

Kuky Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 What Oh my god Are You 4 real? Haaaa, its sounds like a bucket that cant hold water. :megalol: Don't know who's "4 real" here but I'm pretty sure the game works by sending all this info between clients and if with export functions you are able to create HUD's and all kinds of outputs on instruments then surely all this info can be seen, if you know how, or presented outside game. Quite frankly I don't even know why I bother replying on your post(s) :pilotfly: PC specs: Windows 11 Home | Asus TUF Gaming B850-Plus WiFi | AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D + LC 360 AIO | MSI RTX 5090 LC 360 AIO | 55" Samsung Odyssey Gen 2 | 64GB PC5-48000 DDR5 | 1TB M2 SSD for OS | 2TB M2 SSD for DCS | NZXT C1000 Gold ATX 3.1 1000W | TM Cougar Throttle, Floor Mounted MongoosT-50 Grip on TM Cougar board, MFG Crosswind, Track IR
GGTharos Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 A lot of this info is local only. The export you should be worried about exports much less - no recreating of your HUD or anything like that on someone else's computer. Kuky Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 A lot of this info is local only. The export you should be worried about exports much less - no recreating of your HUD or anything like that on someone else's computer. Does it transmit players/units coordinates? GGTharos Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 That is more or less all it transmits when you enable exports to do more than local state exporting. That's what Tacview needs. Personally, I think servers should just offer LOTATC, and they'd have a bit more control over who sees what, too. bandera Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Personally, I think servers should just offer LOTATC, and they'd have a bit more control over who sees what, too. It is the good idea. But where server administrators can gets GCI for work twenty-four hours a day?
Mugatu Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Still exports world objects at any end no? That is more or less all it transmits when you enable exports to do more than local state exporting. GGTharos Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Yes it does, until/if some finer grained permissions are provided. Personally, it doesn't bother me a whole lot. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
104th_Crunch Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 It is the good idea. But where server administrators can gets GCI for work twenty-four hours a day? We can start a fund raiser to get money from the Lock On community. Once we can get together enough for $100,000/year US, the money can go to me and I will be kind enough to quit my job and work as a GCI for 24/hr a day : ) Oops, forgot about sleep
