cichlidfan Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 (edited) how is this system counting? This has been discussed before so I will give you my best recollection of how it works. When someone reps you, positive rep for this discussion, your reputation point count goes up by the amount of rep that they have (the number displayed on their posts where you currently have 1). It takes 300 reputation points for create 1 point of rep. To see your reputation points, and who has repped you, click on the 'User CP' button near the top of the page. On the right side of the new screen, you will see your actual reputation points and below will be a listing of who repped you and what post they repped. You also get points for post counts and for each anniversary year. You cannot rep posts in certain areas (i.e. Chit Chat) nor can you rep old posts. I think the limit is 1 month or less in age.
