Adding non-functional weapons?

I found out that it's rather impossible to add other weapons to Mirage and make them working on it. So there's no chance for eg. working MICA.

Is there any chance to add any weapon to Mirage, even if it's not working?

I mean adding MICA, something like SCALP - I know they won't be working. It's just for external look.

Yes you can add weapons to the mirage afaik.

What would be the point? That would be like playing Flight Sim X...I rather play with a paper airplane, going around the room making jet noises.

Get the CLSID of the weapon you want and copy it.

Open this file: ...\DCS World\CoreMods\aircraft\M-2000C.lua

Navigate to the pylon you want the weapon to be.

Paste the text in there.

Any idea how to do it?

Searching "DCS World\Scripts\Database\db_weapons_data.lua" for the Mica CLSID gave:

IR and ER were added.

I wonder why when I try to add them in mission editor there're only black squares but when I'm in cockpit, I can do this witout any problem with help of ground service.

Any idea where can I find AGM-154 as Scalp and AGM-84D as Exocet? And something like Damocles pod?

I think the Damocles is not in game yet.

The AGM-154 and AGM-84 CLSID can be found either in the list of all weapons (can't recal the name right now) or in the /DCS/scripts/database/planes/F-18C.lua file

I found and added something similar. It's Litening Pod. Going to show it later.

I added these things at this moment:

- AN/ASQ-T50 TCTS Pod

- Mica IR

- Mica ER

- AN/AAQ-28 Litening as something like Damocles pod

- AGM-154 as something like SCALP is, unfortunately, 154 is really small comparing to SCALP and there's no any other weapon simmilar to it, despite one - AGM-86 but there're a few things:

* AGM-86 is really heavy

* AGM-86 is taken by B-52 in the larger amount then 1 and I couldn't find just 1

* AGM-86 is really long : over 6 meters, while SCALP has 5 m and 154 has 4.26 m.

I'm going to add R-73, AIM-9 and I'm looking for something similar to AM-39.

AGM-84E looks similar but can't find it. Should be taken by F/A-18 but there's no code.

Added 2x GBU-12 on pylon 2 and 8 - not working.

Added GBU-12 on pylon 4 and 6 - they're working!

R-73 unusable...

Still works after update.
