elproducto Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Does this actually train you? Or does it assume you already know how to fly the A-10A?
Sabre-TLA Posted January 13, 2015 Author Posted January 13, 2015 It's a Qualification Campaign so it does test you but you will learn as well in trying to pass the tests. MapleFlagMissions - Read Our Blog for Updates
rcjonessnp175 Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Love your guys work! But will say why the FC3 aircraft when the real modules aren't done like the ka50? I7 4770k @ 4.6, sli 980 evga oc edition, ssdx2, Sony 55 inch edid hack nvidia 3dvision. Volair sim pit, DK2 Oculus Rift.
Sabre-TLA Posted January 14, 2015 Author Posted January 14, 2015 No reason other than we release the campaigns when they are ready. I expect the next one will be the F-15C but everything is subject to change. We did refactor all the code and have set it up so that the missions will be easier to update when the SSM (Standard System Model) becomes ASM (Advanced System Model) for those modules. slate Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Great to see progress. The A10C campaign was great, I assume there are only minor differences between the A10C and A10A campaigns. Looking forward to the next one...
Sabre-TLA Posted January 14, 2015 Author Posted January 14, 2015 Yes the format of the missions is essentially the same. We had to remove some of the cockpit clickable triggers as the FC3 aircraft don't have those (yet). However the new design makes it easy to add those in when those aircraft eventually do get the Advanced System Model (ASM). We did fix a number of items that users had complained about and added some additional voice dialogue to help with the mission flow. One part that I like is that we broke out the feedback so instead of just getting a Qual, Qual-Minus or UnQual rating at the end, we now provide feedback specifically on the following based on your in mission performance: 1. General knowledge, airmanship and safety. 2. Pre-takeoff, and takeoff. 3. Navigation and maneuvers. 4. Approach, landing and after landing. 5. Communications and task prioritization. Your final rating is determined based on how well you do in each of the 5 areas. We have propagated these changes to the A-10C campaign and hope to release it soon. Likewise all the aircraft will benefit from roughly the same model and bug fixes can be propagated as the code base is now consistent. MapleFlagMissions - Read Our Blog for Updates
Sabre-TLA Posted March 9, 2015 Author Posted March 9, 2015 (edited) Download Package has been updated. We made some minor zone improvements (making them bigger so they are easier to hit) and adjusted the end mission music so it doesn't overlap with the voice dialogue (the DCS World 1.2.15 update changed the way sounds are processed). We also updated the installer to support those users who don't have Flaming Cliffs but only purchased the A-10A module. Edited March 9, 2015 by Sabre-TLA MapleFlagMissions - Read Our Blog for Updates
Sabre-TLA Posted March 24, 2015 Author Posted March 24, 2015 A user with Military Pilot experience gave us some feedback about our Basic Flight Training Qualification Campaign. He pointed out that our Lazy Eight maneuver in BFT06 - Advanced Handling was actually more of a Cuban Eight or Figure Eight than a true Lazy Eight. We agreed and have updated the campaign mission file and diagrams to reflect the true Lazy Eight maneuver. Files have been updated on ED's User Files Section. Hopefully this makes the Lazy Eight maneuver more accurate and easier for players to successfully complete. MapleFlagMissions - Read Our Blog for Updates
Addewang Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 A10ABFT01, please change it so that big car in the north doesn't drive straight through you. BFT03 is moderately broken (1.1), has it been changed in 1.2? 1. Can't hear check at beginning, but answer it. 2. Only 1 waypoint, cannot change to any other waypoint. 3. He says turn to 40/300 and when I do I'm unqualified. Note I'm basically flying over the city, not very well aligned with runway.
Sabre-TLA Posted March 28, 2015 Author Posted March 28, 2015 You should always use the latest version as it may contain bug fixes. Check our blog for updates (link in my sig). Please try again with V1.2 and report if you continue to have issues (or email us at mapleflagmissions@gmail.com). MapleFlagMissions - Read Our Blog for Updates

Sabre-TLA Posted December 6, 2015 Author Posted December 6, 2015 Both Release and Openbeta packages have been updated to add some more content and fix an annoying bug in BFT04. Some users had indicated that BFT04 would not transition to the next mission even if they got a Q or Q- rating. We couldn't reproduce the issue on our system but we did find an extra flag that we suspect caused the problem so we removed it. Your mission key and password can be used to install these updated packages and your campaign progress will not be impacted as it is recorded in your logbook. 1.5 OpenBeta Package. 1.2.16 Release Package. Barao Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Hello, What can I expect about Basic Flight Training Qualification - 08 - Emergencies? A-10A, in DCS, haven't emergency procedures in the manual... I read the briefing and don't know what think about random emergencies. Thanks! Dell U2715H 27" IPS 2560x1440 / 60 Hz; Ryzen 7 7700x; 32gb DDR5 6400; B650M Aorus Pro; Water Cooler Arctic liquid freezer II 280
Sabre-TLA Posted February 21, 2016 Author Posted February 21, 2016 Emergencies in the A-10A or other Flaming Cliffs aircraft are pretty limited since you can't work any switches. However our A-10A BFT Campaign comes with an Amplified Checklist that covers standard emergency procedures like in-air engine restart and engine out landings. I recommend you fly the mission and see for yourself. MapleFlagMissions - Read Our Blog for Updates
Barao Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 I saw this problem in some missions: Dell U2715H 27" IPS 2560x1440 / 60 Hz; Ryzen 7 7700x; 32gb DDR5 6400; B650M Aorus Pro; Water Cooler Arctic liquid freezer II 280
