Toolboy77 Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 (edited) Hey all, I was researching if Hog drivers wear watches with particular / special functions and came across this image: http://www.moody.af.mil/shared/media/photodb/photos/101122-F-8832G-568.jpg Is anyone able to tell me which watch model and year this is? My best guess is a Casio: Protrek but the exact model and year is proving a little difficult to pinpoint! Any guesses? KLR Rico Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 I don't know, it kind of looks like one of the suunto watches to me. I do know that his pencil is a skillcraft 1.1mm, it's my favorite because I write heavy and the thick lead is very robust. :D i5-4670K@4.5GHz / 16 GB RAM / SSD / GTX1080 Rift CV1 / G-seat / modded FFB HOTAS

Hummingbird Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 (edited) Yeah, I think it's a Casio Pathfinder PAW-1500 V1 Atomic Solar: http://www.protrek.casio.com/watches/Solar_Atomic/PAW1500-1V FMk96X3VvHM Edited April 7, 2015 by Hummingbird
Laurius Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Yeah, I think it's clear that it's the model OP was looking for. Regarding the year, it's still unclear ! I come to think that year of production is not as most important as the OP made it. Sure It's Casio Protrek, but regarding as when the production started is far from obvious. Sure it would be nice to state when this model appeared, but honnestly, I have no idea. Cheers everyone Laurius Asus P8Z68 Deluxe, Intel Core i7-2600K (3.4 GHz), Corsair Vengeance 2x4096 Mo DDR3 1866 MHz, SSD 120 Go Vertex 2, EVGA GeForce GTX 970 FTW ACX 2.0 4Go (04G-P4-2978-KR), TM HOTAS Warthog #03797 (MB replaced), Saitek Combat Pro Rudder, TrackIR 5, TM Cougar MFDs with Lilliput 8" UM 80
