[REPORTED] Black knobs in cockpit

Most of the knobs in the cockpit are totally black, like some texture is missing. Is that something normal or should I do a repair?

A repair is always the first thing I try with these sort of problems. Then delete and reinstall in module manager if that doesn't work. I am on my phone so I can't see the photo properly to tell what the problem is, but no harm in trying repair.

If this is a bug and others also have this issue, then there's no point in doing a repair or reinstall.

I would do a repair, based on your picture, the top of the knob should be the same color as the side of it, not black as shown in pic

Incorrect - they recently became darker (I'm not sure why this was changed, though).

Texture in question is located in Cockpit1, inside the Emerg. Fuel panel.

Used to look like this:

Texture looks to have been removed, leaving plain black 0, 0, 0 background instead.

The issue is still there in the latest open beta. I'm mentioning this because there were other texture fixes recently.

Bumping this as the issue is still outstanding. It's pretty cosmetic but likely should be a quick and easy fix.

Doing a horrible thing and bumping this as 2.5 is out.

0,0,0 knob tops aren't a real thing. They used to be properly textured back at launch.

Can one of the ED test team please see if this is logged?

4 years waiting for a texture fix.

Can any of the ED testers confirm it's still an active ticket, but just sitting down in the queue?

With all due respect sir, I'd rather they fix the engine sound cut out bug first.

My guess is that it won't change unless we get a new PBR cockpit retexture (like WWII airplanes or F-5 got in the recent years).
