ac5 Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 Hi, Somehow the FPS counter / info (R-Ctrl-Pause) has turned bright orange in the last versions and it is very difficult to read @ 2560 x 1600. Can somebody point me on out how to render this text more visible? ac5 Posted February 5, 2017 Author Posted February 5, 2017 And yes, I have fraps but I prefer not to use any external programs while running DCS. This happens in both versions 2.0.5 and 1.5.6. razo+r Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 you could try it with shadowplay, indicates it green in any corner you want shadowplay comes nowadays with NVidia GPUs
ac5 Posted February 5, 2017 Author Posted February 5, 2017 Thanks, but, as I wrote, I prefer not to use any external programs while running DCS. grunf Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 I may be wrong, but I think the shadowplay is always running anyway, so it's just a matter of turning the indicator on.
ChillyWillies Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 Yeah, the FPS color was changed in recent builds. I think it should be an option myself. ac5 Posted February 5, 2017 Author Posted February 5, 2017 I don't think I have it, as I made a custom and not a full installation Mainboard: ASUS Maximus X Hero Intel Z 370 CPU: Intel 12-Core i7-8086K @ 4.0 GHz Memory: 32GB Corsair DDR4-3000 MHz Graphics Card: ASUS NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB Monitor ASUS - Oled PG42UQ 41.5" @ 4K 1 SSD Samsung 860 PRO 256 GB 1 SSD Samsung 990 PRO NVMe M.2 4 TB Windows 11 Home - 64 CH Products Combatstick, Throttle and Pedals

ac5 Posted February 5, 2017 Author Posted February 5, 2017 I have downloaded just now, will give it a try. Thanks. Art-J Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 Contrary to NVidia announcements months ago, I know in Win7 I can still install only the drivers, without the "Experience" bullcrap. Is it different in Win10 installation package? i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
ac5 Posted February 7, 2017 Author Posted February 7, 2017 In Win 10 you can install with or without the "Experience" bullcrap. But indeed it is a bullcrap. loads a half a dozen of processes, whereas Fraps loads only one.
