MBot
The AI currently needs about 1.5 km of runway to take off clean. This is no big deal on the Caucasus map, but on the NTTR we will run into troubles with the many smaller fields. It would be desirable if the AI Viggen are rotating more aggressively. MBot
Take off distance improved a bit, but an AI Viggen with a standard loadout still cannot take off from Lincoln County Airport (1400 m runway).
MBot
The AI still has troubles with the Viggen's legendary short field capability. This is a take off at the 5000ft/1500m runway at North Las Vegas.
razo+r
It has the SFM and that's why it won't be able to take-off as soon as you are
MBot
This is still a problem, AI Viggens have problems or cannot take off from smaller airfields. At best they overshoot the runway and keep on trucking along the countryside, which looks bad. At worst, they keep crashing into buildings in their path. For missions this is a big problem, as it means that Viggens (full AI flights or player flights with AI wingmen) cannot operate from small strips, which is kind of what the Viggen is all about. Nealius
Is it possible there's also a problem with AI's afterburner? After flying with AI for a while, it appears that they only ever use Stage 1 AB.
