RSharpe Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Yay. Do they make changes between the previous Beta and the WHQL drivers?

Steel Jaw Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Any specific mention of DCS A10C? Sure would love to see those cursed online micro stutters go away. Invisibull Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Any specific mention of DCS A10C? Sure would love to see those cursed online micro stutters go away. You and me both, my friend. Incidently, I've run all kinds of benchmarks (including Heaven 2.5) for both CPU and GPU and my rig outperformed the avg. for both pieces of hardware. It's clear to me that it never was my rig, and at least in my case, this is a purely ED software problem. i9 9900k - GTX 2080 Ti - MSI Z87 GD65 Mobo - 64GB HyperX Predator RGB DDR4 3200MHz - Win10 64 bit - TM Warthog w FSSB R3 mod - TrackIr 5.
Invisibull Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 These drivers offer no noticeable improvement for me. I hope you all have better luck. i9 9900k - GTX 2080 Ti - MSI Z87 GD65 Mobo - 64GB HyperX Predator RGB DDR4 3200MHz - Win10 64 bit - TM Warthog w FSSB R3 mod - TrackIr 5.
RSharpe Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 I haven't been able to try everything, but so far, it feels pretty much the same as the 270.51 beta drivers to me.
Steel Jaw Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 this is a purely ED software problem. Agreed. And ED needs to get on that rather than adding new things. Ghanja Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 I am still using 266.66 - will there be an improvement (skipped 270.51 Beta)? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] .:: My System ::. .:: My Paintings ::.
oritpro Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 I didn't see any love for A-10C in the Nvidia release notes and still experience micro-stutters and disappearing label textures. They seem to be on a 4 - 6 month release schedule so unless ED can fix this stuff some of us are going to have to live with it. Napa Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 From 270.51 to 270.61 there's really no improvement. RSharpe Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 The only difference I've found between 270.51 and 270.61 is that 270.61 is not glitchy detecting monitors when switching to SLI surround. That's a big welcome fix for me.
