Aye - the first sortie I took care of two Buks and the dang Shilkas sawed me straight in half.........Second time around you would have thought I'd learnt my lesson :music_whistling:

Yeah - Got tagged by the Shilkas between WP 2 and 3 on a run-in after the EWR after eliminating the BUK's.......or was it the 9M331 - I cannot remember now lol.

TBH, I played a lot with 'Failures' on this but for the life of me could not get it to work for Clients (MFCD and HUD Failures). It would fall in line with the mission Scenario much better than just an explanation of a 'Mass Reverse Polarity causing Explosion' excuse. Without saying too much here, i submitted it as a bug, but well, er..............................................

 

Perhaps you could take a look sometime?

 

Happy to take to Testers Forum if need be or my own over at the 74th.

Sorry - missed this completely otherwise I would have answered sooner: I sharpen them at default 1920x1200 and then resize to current size.

Thank you.Thats a badass GPU really :D I will buy an MSI HD 6870 HAWK. Will I get great looking graphics same as yours ? Im little bit worried because I never used AMD/ATI Graphic cards and want better image quality in games rather than FPS.

I'm probably not the best person to ask when it comes to system specs - I tend to repel hardware.

 

That said - I have always had ATI and had never had problems with 'Eye-Candy'. Screenshots as above are all at default - no mods: It's all the SIM :)

I suspect that a portion of the quality may lie in the software used to scale the images, I am guessing that the resolution posted is not the actual screen resolution.

 

Some software, and settings within said software, will produce extremely good compressions and reductions but these application are not all created equal.

 

Aside from that, from an 'eye-candy' perspective any quality upper end card should produce very good results as long as FPS is not the primary concern.

I diverted to the nearest AB and when setting myself up for finals I was confronted by an irritating 9M331 that apparently adopted the AB and was not prepared to share........:music_whistling:

 

At this time I was thirsty, so I found the nearest village Pub and put her down - it seems Farmer Brown's daughter is partial to downed pilots so all's well that ends well!

 

 

Oh yes - the 'Engine-on-Fire' I assume was a 'bug' of sorts. I pulled everything there was to pull and the fire animation remained. Still trying to nail it down.
