Hello, When using the GBU-24, in SL or PP, we have a min&max range. But, while the manual say : "Normally, the bomb can only be released when the aircraft is inside the LAR." (page 324) We cannot release the bomb before the release cue crosses the velocity vector. In image, that means that while we might think we could release the bomb any time in the red part, we can only release it in the yellow. Weapon release doesn't do anything in the blue part. We also tried a forced laze, and a loft. CLAR ORV ignored because, the manual doesn't say we need to use it to drop while in the CLAR. No track right now. Can do one if necessary.

Was flying a mission, was shot down and respawned. When I respawned the aircraft had no HUD, no MFD's, and no HSI. I turned off the MFD switch and waited it tick, then flipped it back on. Nothing. Played with the HUD Brightness wheel, nothing. Pressed various OSB's. Nothing. Ended the mission and booted up a standard instant action flight (track attached) and the condition persisted. No Screens.trk

The code already defines 4 different dispenser sources (presumably Chaff/Flare Left/Right), but it seems 2 are being ignored. I've already tried modifying the values, 2 of them are being ignored.nullnullnull

In the current DCS version 2.9.16.10523 I noticed that I'm able to dive the Sabre at full throttle from 30,000ft, exceeding Mach 1.1, and I can recover from the dive without the use of air brakes. I haven't flown the Sabre in a while, but I recall that normally during steep dives, I had to deploy the airbrakes to ensure I could pull out of the dive. Additionally, there seems to be weird vibrations going on at the wing tips once it exceeds Mach 1.0. Track file attached. F86MachTest.rar

I purchased this today after following Red Kites series on this Campaign and it seems there is a bug with mission 01. Cajin does not detach from the tanker to allow the player to practice refuelling. It's not a game breaker as the refuelling part times out and the mission continues but it was frustrating sitting behind Cajin unable to refuel.

This is a basic feature in any RBM mode that still is missing in all ED's modelled radars (of course Heatblur and Razbam have done this right). Currently radar elevation does nothing in MAP mode in the Hornet, basically all terrain extending from below the aircraft up to the radar limits is visible all the time This is very unrealistic. AG modes in mechanically steered radar antennas use 1 bar search patterns with limited aperture that eventually only allows operator to see a small "band". See for example the fantastic F-15E radar, but you can see similar behaviours in the M2000, F-14 and F-4. ED, I think it's time to solve this basic missing feature in the AG radar. BR null -
Hi, My squadron always creates custom mission datacards as .PNG's for us to have as kneeboard. I also have SAM threat guides in kneeboard etc. Every other aircraft works with having the added custom pages in C:\Users\Gripen-39\Saved Games\DCS\Kneeboard\'AIRCRAFT-NAME' But with the F-16, it just wont work... I have to put it in the installation folder in F-16\Cockpit\Scripts\KNEEBOARD, but that shouldnt be necessary... The folder is named F-16C_50 in C:\Users\Gripen-39\Saved Games\DCS\Kneeboard directory. Can anyone help me with this issue?

If you add a waypoint via the data search, the insert before option can't be only deleted if you overwrite this if letters. Please have a look on the track file. Insert.trk

Just finished Mission 9 and the audio for Vandal JTAC is missing. I had the ARC-210 set up to the current frequency, and knew the radio was working because I could hear ATIS on it. I was able to finish the mission by hitting Space when required. Also of note in this mission, Lotus proceeded to taxi off road after landing and parked nowhere near thunder. There also wasn’t a “mission complete” notification at the end like there was with previous missions, I was a little concerned I had broken a trigger after landing and that it wouldn’t record completion on exiting.

For almost a week now I thought my DCS got broken by the last patch, missions I ran fine before the patch now get 7FPS I thought it was DCS. But it appears to be a CWG only problem. This mission ran at 70FPS in VR before the last patch, now it runs at 6-10FPS in 2d Fulda3.miz Here I placed 500 T-72s on Kola I choose Kola as it not the best optimized map max settings, I get 120FPS locked in 2D as 500 tanks drive over the plateau kola test.miz Here the same 500 T-72s on CWG and the FPS goes to 5-10FPS in 2D. temp test.miz Something changed on the CWG map in the last patch that massively increased how much system is used for AI movement over the map. I hope Ugra can find out what they changed on the map in the last patch that caused this

Hi There, SCAN RAID mode shows a "zoomed in" picture of 22° x 10 NM with the L&S in the center. For example if the L&S target's range is 25 NM, then in RAID mode, at the top and bottom right corners of the radar, the range figures should be 30 and 20 NM respectively. But it never shows it right, the top right corner always shows the actual range to the L&S target, and the bottom number is simply the top number minus 10. Is the calculation really wrong from the get go, or am I missing something? You can see it at 1:05 in Matt's first YT video of the RAID modes way back when Matts RAID modes video

Hello, The short version is this: To repair on a carrier from the supercarrier module, you need be parked. To park, you need to be guided by deck crew. To be guided by deck crew, you need to fold your wings. To fold your wings, your plane needs to recognize it's landed with 3 green landing gear lights. And if you bend your landing gear on landing, through the chain of consequences, you cannot repair/rearm/refuel the plane, even if you can still taxi around the carrier with plenty of mobility, if the landing gear is bent. Please see the attached track for an example. Sorry it's fairly long, and please ignore the fact I basically just launch, fly in circles, and do some horrible landing attempts, the reasons for that are beyond the scope of this bug report. For a while now I've felt like the mil power performance of the F-16 was a little low, though I chalked it up to the DCS version being Blk 50 as the GE engines favor AB over dry thrust. However I did finally get around to do some testing and it looks like there is a lack of thrust/overprediction in fuel flow even taking into account the F110's. I have tracks attached, though due to forum rules I am not posting the source info. I can send it via message. Summary of the issue: Testing at DI 102 at 34015 lbs weight to compare to data at DI 100 at 34000 lbs weight DCS shows increased Delta between speeds when accelerating under full mil power. This not only impacts acceleration, but climb and cruise, so the F-16 has a harder time getting to optimum altitude and uses too much fuel when cruising. DCS fuel burn at 510 knots is approximately 4200 PPH while the actual value should be just under 3900 PPH. Ideally some more testing is needed to see if this is more of an engine issue or drag issue, and it should be tested at more speeds, altitudes, and weights, but the condition that I did test is an important one as it's relevant to the F-16 in a CAP role. Hello, I noticed that the image on the mirrors is of low quality. Is there something you could do to increase the resolution of mirror reflections? Anything? Can you make additional options for those who want higher resolution reflections on mirrors? I use the highest possible settings (4K ). Display resolution: 1024 Every Frame. MSAA/TAA/DLAA doesn't matter. Best regards.

Beholder (Rockman) 142.3 is on AM modulation, not FM as specified in briefing and documentation, which is weird and confusing because radio automaticaly changes modulation from AM to FM after you change freq from 133 do 142.3. Also kneeboards freqs doesnt specify modulations, its all very confussing

I wonder if there is a small issue here: Base is set to be 5000 and lead gets ordered by ATC to Base + 10.000. He then flies at around 19.500. No big deal, just wondered if this is correct.

When spawning with dynamic slot, if there's only 1 AH-64D in base, the option to join CPG in multiplayer is blacked if the player joined and left the aircraft. With the Mi8 happens when there's 2 helicopters in the base. The additional slots on each aircraft are needed as additional units in the warehouse of the base.

so in this thread . it explain that the smokewinder is too heavy. however i went a bit further to test all of the wingtip payload. the testing method is simple. have an F-5 with a single asymmetrical wingtip loaded with smokewinder as a baseline and see how the aircraft would react without touching the controls. and then compare it to other wingtip payload. as you can see with the track below, it seems the aircraft react the same way(in terms of roll rate) as the smokewinder when loaded with asymmetrical pylon for every loadout which brings to the conclusion that all of the wingtip payload weight are incorrect. now if i were to guess, in the original thread, it was found that they input the wrong weight of 200 Kg instead of 92kg, I believe this is a unit error that they assume they put 200 pounds instead of kilo smokewinder.trk 9b.trk 9p.trk 9p5.trk ACMIpodtrk.trk catm.trk

Hi, The original topic was closed and some time has passed but the problem still exists. I was asked for a TRACK and here it is. N.B. Its raw and radar is not setup etc etc etc just get in the air and fire 120 's at target and show what I see. It's so distracting as the flow from one box target to another is interrupted and then you press the wrong button but then you did not / or did you ??? I have been through all button settings on my WW Joystick and cannot find a double binding. I suppose the basic question is What is the view that one sees on firing the missile? What is its official title ? I have looked all weapon/target views and cannot solve it. Now if I go on a mission built within DCS with say a Sparrow it works perfectly. No disruption. It does not work properly on all Multiplayer sites I have visited . It did work once way back before say two updates . However I have even had to re install Windows 11 and DCS completely due to another issue with W/Wing DDI screens and Windows screen placement. Thats fixed now. So any help or ideas very welcome LastMissionTrack.trk
