I mainly play in VR, and even if you get nice controllers for everything, and get crazy mapping controls, in the end when you switch to TEDAC but you keep your hands in the collective and cyclic using the very same buttons... experience and inmersion goes sub-prime. So, not willing to throw 1K€ in a custom TEDAC unit, I tryed to mimic it as close as possible with cheaper market solutions, having separate controllers for the TEDAC, and... this is my solution: In VR it actually adds a new layer of inmersion as you move your hands to the TEDAC unit away from your regular controls (I'm still working on a proper 3D printed mount to keep it in position above the cyclic) and this con troller has a really nice and precise analog sticks for the cursor and the manual-tracking. Good thing is that controller and bluetooth keyboard went as low as 52€ from aliexpress, and I got a perfect mapping for the actions I need in when controlling the TEDAC. To be able to use the triggers as buttons I'm using AntiMicroX (as Joystick Gremlin has problems with Bluetooth controllers). I'm mapping in the keyboard the LEV and GAIN knobs, which are really important, and George controlls, really easy and quick to use. I'm amazed how good it is in VR as you can grab and feel the unit. I'm leaving here my mapping (currently, still testing) that seems to do the job for me. UPDATE: I've updated the bindings

Hi guys After making tedac for a year i decided to remake a brand new version of it. So in the last 6 months a was working on my new tedac V2. i put all my skill and heart on this project. i redesigned it 100% from the ground up. Im pretty proud of to show you the result Here my tedac V2

Since a lot of people wanted to have a dedicated console controller for TEDAC-only use, I decided to put together a couple layouts depending on what type of controller you're using. I designed these layouts based on the following assumptions/restrictions: No 3rd Party controller software. Must be configured within DCS only. Only 1 modifier used. Otherwise you might as well use my complete control layout for the Apache. Already have a head tracker solution. There's technically room for Camera Horizontal/Vertical, but I'll let you figure that out. Somewhat replicates the TEDAC controller layout. It's not perfect obviously as some gamepad-specific optimizations are made First up is a layout that should work for both Xbox and PlayStation controllers. Note, nothing is bound to the triggers since I assume the Laser Trigger and Weapon Trigger will be buttons. Not axes. Even if ED made the Laser/Weapon Triggers axes, it still may not be possible to bind since Xbox triggers share a single axis: Second up is a layout specifically for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 controllers. Unlike the Xbox controller above, PS4 and PS5 controllers actually have buttons in their triggers in addition to being axes. As a result, they can be bound to buttons like Laser Trigger and Weapon Trigger: The above layouts are based on input from a number of fantastic resources, from @bradmick's already existing controller profiles, to input from a number of SMEs that frequent the ED Discord, and finally Wags' binding video. I hope this helps you hit the ground running when you finally get access to that CPG seat.

Hi, I noticed that the BRT Button on the TEDAC Frame affects the TEDAC Image brightness when the IHADSS overlay is active and affects the IHADSS overlay brightness when the IHADSS overlay is inactive. I believe this behaviour is flipped, as it would make much more sense if the BRT button would change the IHADSS overlay brightness while the overlay is visible and the monitors' brightness while the overlay is disabled. I´ve attached the relevant track file. Note that I only demonstrated this with the BRT button, but the contrast button, the symbology button and the reset button also have the same issue.
