This would eliminate me having to install shark 1. I'm busy Uh-1 right now but i'd like to still fire BS2 sometime. How would changing it benefit ED? In any case there plenty of other Sims for me to enjoy....I just thought I'd ask. Well you bought BS1, which is an older version than what BS2 is today. You bought the BS2 update, which was cheaper than what the full version of BS2 was at the time of release. Neither of these really warrants a free license for a full BS2 as it wouldnt be fair to the people that purchased the full BS2 to begin with, nor is it really fair to ED as you have the ability to enjoy BS2 with your upgrade key and I believe they would need to issue you another key, so you would end up with 2 BS2 keys (maybe they could figure out how to kill your upgrade key, but sounds like alot of work). As for the sale, there is always new sales throughout the year, as you really arent missing anything, it doesnt really seem to me to be a big deal to wait for the next one if thats what you want to do. fastfreddie Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 I agree with the OP that it would be great customer service just to eliminate the old BS1/BS2 upgrades and replace it with just the BS2 version. You've purchased the game twice already and making it simpler for the user would be greatly appreciated especially when I reload my system or build a new one. To be honest all they would have to do is change the BS2 upgrades already purchased to full versions and end the sale of future BS2 upgrade sales but I doubt they have time to really mess with it.
