BaD CrC Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Since 1.2.7 we have extremely erratic datalink behaviour, not in the transmission of the targets which seems to work fine, but in the position display on ABRIS of my mates. Sometime, no display at all during the flight, sometime a few moments then stop working. Anyone else experienced this? https://www.blacksharkden.com http://discord.gg/blacksharkden
ajax Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 I just found your post, and I recently posted the same bug. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=125183 Yes, I've seen it. It seems to only work for about five minutes or so using the default frequency of 124.000. If you switch frequencies, it starts working again and keeps on working.
karambiatos Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 yep, having the same, and another question with the datalink, when you power down you ka-50 (turn the engines off), the datalink targets that have been saved on the abris, disappear. Is this suppose to happen? A 1000 flights, a 1000 crashes, perfect record. =&arrFilter_pf[gameversion]=&arrFilter_pf[filelang]=&arrFilter_pf[aircraft]=&arrFilter_DATE_CREATE_1_DAYS_TO_BACK=&sort_by_order=TIMESTAMP_X_DESC"] Check out my random mods and things
BaD CrC Posted June 3, 2014 Author Posted June 3, 2014 Yes. If you turn off the ABRIS, you'll loose all your dl targets. It's normal. It is not if you leave your ABRIS on battery while switching off the engine on the other hand. https://www.blacksharkden.com http://discord.gg/blacksharkden
karambiatos Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 No, the Abris stays on, the engines get turned off, which turns off the datalink automatically, but the moment the datalink stops working, the saved datalink targets disappear. That is what i meant, i didn't quite understand what you wrote, sorry.
Rongor Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 As far as I understand, the ABRIS only displays the data provided by the PVTz-800. If the PVTz-800 loses current, data is lost, regardless the ABRIS kept alive.
BaD CrC Posted June 4, 2014 Author Posted June 4, 2014 OK. Well, never noticed this tbh. But as Rongor said, it might be a normal behaviour. https://www.blacksharkden.com http://discord.gg/blacksharkden

Rogue Trooper Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 If you are getting repaired or taking a break the best way of holding the data/settings of the helicopter is to order ground power connection before switching off the engines. Off course don't forget to switch on the ground power and also disconnect before take off.
