I used to watch the Red arrows every year on Queen's birthday when I was a kid, doing formation flying over my town in Cyprus around Dhekelia. But they stopped doing that nearly a decade ago and they mostly fly around Akrotiri AFB.

 

Damn.. I wish they could come over this way this year.

Been digging through some old pics that were still packed away from my last two house moves

 

Some are from Biggin Hill in 98/99/2002, Waddington, RAIT, Farnborough.

 

Biggin Hill 1998, Flag did not come out as well as I hoped.

 

 

 

Waddington:

 

Dark day for Waddington, the practice the day before was spectacular in lovely clear skies, I had the opertunity to watch the practice of the Arrows and Frecce Tricolori from the tower - but no camera allowed :(
