Hey guys I am attempting to finally learn fast movers and A2A engagements. I cannot seem to locate a TM Warthog profile for the F-15C. I did some Google searching but I'm not finding anything.

Anyone mind posting their personal warthog profile for the F-15C?

Or can someone give me a list of the controls that need to be bound and I can find some buttons to throw them on? Like I said I am JUST getting into the jets.

I uploaded my config to the main webpage when it clears you can download it..

It has all the basic functionality I am too lazy to actuly have a diagram where all the buttons are but it is a good starting point for you.

Hey thanks for taking the time to try and help out. Unfortunately when I attempt to "Load Profile" from the DCS options> F15C > controls menu nothing happens. I press Load Profile and double click the .lua file but it doesn't read any buttons and all of the keybinds remain empty.

Ill try to find a webpage with keybinds I should have and just attempt to manually set it up. Thanks fellas for trying to help out.

Maybe a version conflict. The config files changed and some actions were renamed etc.

I think you can open the file in a simple text editor and watch which key is for what action ( when im right the format is readable).

At friday 18 I could provide you a picture of my hotas with mapping if that helps^^

I have one little question for Zabuza,

The profile for FC3 is good for the F-15C ?

All the functions of the F-15C are present in your profile or I must add few commands ?

Thanks in advance and congratulation for this sharing:

I created this in 1.2.6 now there are some more options. Imo for F15 would be important: nosewheelsteering on/off. I recommend to scroll over all keys to not forget an important but thats it more or less

If you are getting started with other planes/modules, this is a great package

Its a well put together collection of profiles with PDFs for a lot of DCS modules, including the F-15

Hi Zabusa,

Just bought the Warthog Hotas and found these profiles. Before going any further, thank you for sharing these. Just a quick question if I may; How does one employ two functions on the same switch as illustrated by your yellow captions? I am of course trying to keep my hands off of the keyboard and mouse if at all possible.

Many thanks.:joystick:

It is always best to not fly too fast or fly too slow. So I fly half fast. :D

in the controls settings in the lower left there is a button for Modifiers.

In there you can setup modifiers that will allow you to do what you are talking about.

In the case of the TM Warthog, you will setup a modifer named "Lever" (example, you can call it what you want)

Then assign it to the pinky paddle/lever on the stick.

once done, you can have ever button perform one function, and then have it perform another with the modifier...

so for example

Stick Trim up (hat switch down) will perform trim down

lever + hat switch down could be assigned to "reset trim"

make sense?

Cannot take the time to read each post in this..

How ever I have a profile loaded on the downloads of eagledynamics.

With that being said. I think personaly it is much easier to configure the controls your self. Mainly because you have to think of what you want to do. Therefor when you're flying you have a memory of what you placed where vs trying to look through images to figure where someone else put something.

For the WIN

If your desired effect on the target is making the pilot defecate his pants laughing then you can definitely achieve it with a launch like that.

Nash - I'm not that guy, but here's my Eagle profile with properly working airbrake and two-way switches for some functions such as electric power.

Place the base_joystick_binding.lua file in DCS/config/input/aircrafts (overwrite the existing file, you'll need to do this every time there is a patch or the two way switches will disappear)

Don't mind the weird symbology, it's referencing the A-10. Stick slap switch (lever on the front) is AP disconnect.

Throttle bindings are:

FLOW L - jettison weapons (wing tanks, then centerline tank, then weapons)

FLOW R - fuel dump

IGN L - L Engine start/stop backup control (throttle idle/off detent will also start/stop engine)

IGN R - R Engine start/stop backup control

APU start - Electric power

RADAR ALTIMETER - Launch permission override

EAC - Cockpit lighting

AP engage/disengage - Eject (3x)

WARNING SILENCE - As advertised

SLIDER - View zoom

ALT - AP altitude hold

PATH - AP attitude hold

FLAPS UP - flaps retract

FLAPS DOWN - flaps extend

FLAPS MANEUVERING - No function in F-15C

No problem. I have some extra buttons to push so NAV mode, WP select, and external lighting and gear aren't on there but there are some blank controls to do with what you will. Enjoy!

Roger that ...

Also if you have any SU-27 profs ???
