Rapier-VCG- Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Could anyone explain to me the uncontrolled option when setting up a flight on the tarmac. Is it strictly to populate or can you add way points and a active trigger.
chardly38 Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 I use them to start an AI (AI's) that is parked near me so we can take off one after the other and have some of them leave after landing. Plus doing it this way keeps the aircraft from just appearing beside you. Im not sure if you know how to set it up so Ill do my best. In the photos you see a trigger named F-16 start and a Humm V named AI Start. You must set (start) in the airplane group action. Then set your Triggers/Type/Conditions/Actions Menu. The aircraft now will fly the route the you have set up. I hope this helps. Oscar Juliet Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Is this the most effective way? I come from Arma where soldiers have radios and triggers can be set to radios. Is this the only way to make it so ground troops can call in support when they want it? My Youtube Channel
Isegrim Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 This trigger isnt working for me anymore. "Blyat Naaaaa" - Izlom
Rapier-VCG- Posted April 19, 2014 Author Posted April 19, 2014 (edited) Thanks there chardly, did as you suggested and it works like a charm. My helicopters sitting on the pads take off as designed. Just a FYI though, I am still using build 1.27, and not the current beta. Edited April 19, 2014 by Rapier-VCG-
Isegrim Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Yes i did come out with the same ....its working for Helicopters but not with fixedwings. "Blyat Naaaaa" - Izlom
Habu_69 Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Yes i did come out with the same ....its working for Helicopters but not with fixedwings. Chardly's method functioned as described for AI controlled F-16 and A-10. I used TIME MORE as the trigger condition.

Late activation was broken for fixed wings in 1.2.7 and got fixed with 1.2.8. From the changelog: DCS World [...] Fixed Command Start not functioning for AI aircraft.
