Iirc, someone (EvilBivol?) once mentioned that the value represents the, hrm, "overall performance characteristics" of the engine (he explained it differently, but I can't remember the exact words). Like, a brand new, factory fresh engine would be 100% and the older it gets, the performance decreases as well. I'd guess, a 10% would be a 40 year old engine or so ... :o)

I'm also wondering what this does exactly. The manual doesn't say a single word about it

Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

The Mi8 manual covers this.
It's the overall status of the engine, 90% is a brand new engine after installation on the aircraft.

100% is an engine on a test bench before the transmission losses of the aircraft.

From page 408 of the Mi8 manual
