scrtagnt69 Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 I went w/ 100% and it seemed to make slowing down a longer process...I will stick w/90%
TimeKilla Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Yep would be good, am just going to leave it alone til we know. :smilewink: :joystick: YouTube :pilotfly: TimeKilla on Flight Sims over at YouTube.
Flagrum Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Iirc, someone (EvilBivol?) once mentioned that the value represents the, hrm, "overall performance characteristics" of the engine (he explained it differently, but I can't remember the exact words). Like, a brand new, factory fresh engine would be 100% and the older it gets, the performance decreases as well. I'd guess, a 10% would be a 40 year old engine or so ... :o)
QuiGon Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 I'm also wondering what this does exactly. The manual doesn't say a single word about it Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
Tim_Fragmagnet Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 (edited) The Mi8 manual covers this. It's the overall status of the engine, 90% is a brand new engine after installation on the aircraft. 100% is an engine on a test bench before the transmission losses of the aircraft. From page 408 of the Mi8 manual Also, nice necro but hey what can you do. Edited June 9, 2022 by Tim_Fragmagnet 1
