Fighting against MIG29 I see a lot of double smoke Puffs. I am presuming these are it coming out of Burner. Is this correct ? Is it accurate or an SFX bug ?

Its accurate...the mig 29 has very smokey engines.

Yes I understand about the smokey MIG29 its just the 2 Smoke balls I see every time he comes out of burner not so much a trail.

It's when they throttle up.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Yes but ED should fix that. When the 29 throttle up in the RL is smokey but when afterburner or when RM the smoke is visible too far now. the enemy can see the 29 at 100 km everytime!!

You are referring specifically to the AI MiG29 right. The reason why you never get a trail from the AI is because the computer cheats.

SFX bug, if we're thinking about the same thing.

Smoke should come from throttle transitions mainly (Though the MiG is smokey, so transitions should give much denser smoke) and if you go AB -> MIL.
