RICARDO Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Hello, i was wondering if the "meatball" system was broken with 2.8 or this Lansing system was never implemented on the kutzenov?
Silver_Dragon Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 I think that "carrier implementation" funtionality never has been complete on DCS: W. Kilrah Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 (edited) I dont know if I am kicking in open doors here but I also had problem with this. Got a bit easier/better when making a route and put a "landing waypoint" on the carrier (and a altitude of 80ft/30m) Maybe worth a try? EDIT: Ok... misunderstood the question, my bad. Robin_Hood Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 ILS should work on the Kuznetsov. That's pretty much the only help you can get, because as mentionned, the meatball doesn't relly work (and never really has). 2nd French Fighter Squadron
RICARDO Posted May 6, 2014 Author Posted May 6, 2014 Thanks for your answers, it's a pitty that they didn't simulate that fundamental assistance on the Kutz's landing. Specialy as the landing is mutch more difficult with the new AFM...

Specialy as the landing is mutch more difficult with the new AFM... What AFM ? You have access to early build of DCS Su-33 or something ?
Mnemonic Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Specialy as the landing is mutch more difficult with the new AFM... Flight model is the same old SFM no? Only cockpit of Su-33 changed so far. We have new AFM for F-15 only as far as I'm aware...
RICARDO Posted May 7, 2014 Author Posted May 7, 2014 i feld that this 33 was reacting differently than the old one. specialy at landing, i have a hight rate of crash... May by some more practice will solve that.. :music_whistling:
