Can't connect to Master.

Thanks but I have done that. Even rebooted my modem and router. I just dont understand it. I can get into this forum because I have it bookmarked but still cant get the digitalcombatsim site to load on FF or IE its bookmarked to. Even if I type it into the address bar it just searches then times out. As I stated above I can get to it on laptop and my phone so I dont think its the router or modem or it would not load on those either. I am at a loss of whats causing just my desktop not to be able to go to the site.

You can use PingPlotter to see where it is dying off at.

Also try putting 87.98.182.202 in your browser address window, if it comes up that way, something is wrong with your DNS settings on the PC.

Thanks but still no go even after putting numbers only in address bar. Still times out. This makes no since to me. DCS is the only site I can not get to all it does is time out on my gamins machine but as stated above I can get to it on laptop and my phone

Still cant load main site

Anyone have any ideas why I cant get to main DCS site. All it does is timeout. Have tried everything I can think of. I can get to it on my phone and laptop just not on my gaming machine. I have turned off Virus scanner, Firewall. and even allowed it through Mailwarebytes and router but still have same problem. Have tried both IE and FF. Would like to be able to re-download and fly again but cant get to main site to even download. I didn't have this problem with last version and have done nothing to my computer. Thanks

Tried with new account on my system but still get same. http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com will still not load. I just dont get this. I have tried everything I can think of. I have checked the blocked sites and I dont have any listed but cant get this page to come up. Its the only site I cant get to load in either FF or IE

Lone wolf, and you don't run a virus scanner and firewall?

1. Uninstall both, reboot!

2. Disable windows firewall.

3. Ipconfig /flushdns

Retry pls.

This not works, like I was telling you last 2 weeks, I did solve this when stop firewall control to SSL protocol, and then firewall ask to me for a rule to this connection, create rule then master server and module manager start to work fine.

Is anyone having this happen intermittently? I can log in roughly once every 5 tries, and sometimes it takes a bit. Any suggestions or fixes for this in particular? Flushing the DNS cache did help once, but not every time.

Lonewolf, your exact problem happened to me as well, I couldn't connect to the master server or to the DCS website, but could connect to the forum.

Call your ISP, mine blocked the entire DCS site from their system, reasons unknown, but my problem was fixed by my ISP.

I just resolved master.eagle.ru via tracert, but I still hang at "connecting to master". I don't get "could not connect", it just sits there forever and won't actually connect.

Update

Still Cant get to main site or login to master. I have called my ISP and also Netgear and no help even after they had me run all kinds of tests. I have my router set to never block site but just for fun I disconnected the Netgear router and ran my cable from my cable modem stright to my computer and it works that way. Netgear tells me it something in my computer and cable co says its the router LOL. This is the only site and game I cant get into. I am at a loss here guys. I think its something in the router I am missing just dont know what. Even with the router hooked up I can ping DCS website with 0 packet loss just cant get it to load in FF or IE with router hooked up

Thats just it my friend. I have it set to never block any sites and parental controls are off. Like I have stated above I can access the site on my laptop and my phone which are on same network just cant access it from my gaming machine unless I disconnect router. Strange huh. This makes no sense to me at all

Adding an additional experience from my side. First login: cannot connect to master. Second login: a connect after 1 minute or so waiting. Further connects work always till the next day I login again or reboot the system. I don't think it is virus scanner or firewall problem. Maybe indeed parental control. I'll check that tomorrow.

Check the "general rule section in the firewall'... ahh.. incoming ICMP is by default "deny" in bitdefender. Switched in to "allow"...

So, updated the event logging level upon advise from c0ff: to level 7.

Did a reconnect, and got "cannot connect to master".

Something with security certificate was not properly validated ...

In dutch:

Translation to English:

"The certificate that is received from the external server, is not validated in the proper way. error code is 0x80092013. The SSL-connection request has failed. The server certificate is enclosed in the attached information."

Did a reboot, and can reconnect again ... I really did NOTHING additionally...

ohh, and before i forget to mention:

- firewall is on

- virusscanner is on

don't understand.

Can't connect to Master.
