Tank killers gfx engine

Hi ED,

 

check out this new japanese arcade sim for xbox 360. I think its good for the sheer amount of capabilities added in it. I mean the gfx look pretty bland like undetailed textures etc...but I prefer the high contrast low satutration style of colours. This coupled with that small ppl walking on the deck and runway bases will definately make a sim more....REAL..

 

As I say...Its all about the immersion. LOMAC has a good gfx engine ....we just need the immersion with little elements.

Yeah, that's one thing I really miss, especially on a carrier. But the sequence in that game didn't look like it was taken in-game. But if it was, oh damn!

I still think Lock-on's graphics are better. lock-On definitely renders distance MUCH further away.

 

Judging by the distance rendering, the graphics in the above pics are more akin to F22 Raptor than to Lo-MAc.

tiny media window. Cant realy say how much refined the graphics are. Too litle cocpit action too. I cant judge this SIM but I dont believe its realy any tother thing than arcade game.

and I do like the contrast. Too bad its for the 360.

as I meant it to be.....The concept of having more immersion is what we are talking about. Consider this....Its better to have washed out gfx like this with more fearures like a deck crew, soldiers on ground etx... rather than have insanely high detailed models and textures.

Lock on graphics are great but they still don't look real. I know it is hard to get the color right but MSFS looks pretty darn good. And the color in the 2nd pic looks FANTASIC!

Pretty good for what you are getting. It's a game not a simulator. Might be fun to just try out. Anything flight related is in my book. It can only help the flight simulator world. Better than some FPS

 

Maybe I am just a rock and roll head, but good music too
