Hi all,

It came to my ears that guys on the bohemia interactive forum launched a movement to ask THRUSTMASTER create a set for helicopters. This movement was heard by some decision-makers at TM!

At the moment no project seems on the horizon, but if enough of us to demand a rudder or confirm the interest of some for an helicopter flight system we could make smell the $ $ $ to financial Services at TM and that eventually amplify the movement initiated by the guys on the BI forum and maybe TM will launch the production of a rudder with the quality we know them!

To do this, go to the contact form in Thrustmaster

http://www.thrustmaster.com/en_US/contact

Select in the Service area: corporate

Fill in the fields with the asterisk and in the message area put how much you want a Thrustmaster Rudder and why not an helicopter flight system and you send it.

Let us join my brothers to have a set of flight worthy of the name and spread the word to your friends.

I'll add a vote to track the number of people who have sent a letter to TM.

We count on you

if it's the same quality as warthog and cougar, thanks, but no thanks, too many complains out there.

Not against this but I have to ask, what would thrustmaster bring that isn't already available?

And going by my Warthog, i'm not sure I would want rudder pedals that get sticktion after 3 weeks of use.

New pedals? Why? It's not like they could develop some pedals that are what the Warthog HOTAS is to joysticks. I'd much rather they look at new sticks, so there'll actually be a point in having a detachable joystick. Right now all you get for it is a stick that twists a degree when you click the mastermode button.

if there's a market, they will come.....

 Mine have worked flawlessly, I have had mine going on 3 years now. Plus I have serviced them, which does help the part of looking after them.

Though I doubt TM has any interest in creating aircraft pedals, there is certainly much that they could do. Have you seen MFG Crosswind pedals http://mfg.simundza.com/mfgcrosswind.php , or Simpeds http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3815135 ?

If TM, or some other company, decided to produce pedals of that caliber in commercial quantities, it would be a big deal.

I have, but not motivated to do so at the moment. Haven't really been flying, waiting for the Hornet. Really annoyed that I spent $500 on a HOTAS to have that problem when my $40 setup has no such issues after 4 years.

And if I were to spend $400+ on pedals I would get the MFG Crosswind pedals.

Don't want to be pesimistic, but if you wait for the f-18 you have a hell of a patience...I doubt i'll be before 2016.

Yeah I am. Tired of the A-10 and don't really want any of the current aircraft. Prolly will get the Hawk though.
