Nealius Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 With BMS there's an MCH 11-F16 detailing HARTs (Horn Awareness and Recovery Training) for practicing departure recovery and getting used to the aircraft's performance. Is there any equivalent for the A-10?
PFunk1606688187 Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 (edited) Only time I've ever had issues with controllability are when I've lost chunks of my lifting surfaces. Departures have never left me doubting recovery except maybe in a glide at 100 agl. From what I understand the A-10 doesn't like stalling and likes to come out of it naturally on its own. Nealius Posted July 6, 2014 Author Posted July 6, 2014 Thanks Noodle, that sounds exactly what I'm looking for. Is the full set of AHC available anywhere? P*Funk, that's been my experience as well, same for the F-16 in BMS. I still like to practice them when I'm bored and so I know what to do if the SHTF.
SUBS17 Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Some of that is covered in the Flight Qualifications campaign. [sIGPIC] [/sIGPIC]
