According to the manual - and how I remember it (a long time ago?) - after you select a different channel on the R-828 you must press the tuner button to actually change the frequency - the button briefly lights up when that happened.

The button is not clickable with the mouse. I zoomed in, literally crawled under the side panel and tried everything. But to no avail - no depressing animation, no tooltip, no lighting up. The frequency could not be changed this way.

Using the keyboard shortcut RCTRL+RSHIFT+T worked, though.

The button works here.

Are you sure, you are pressing the button and not the light?

they are two diferents things.

And you need to press the button till the light flash and is off again. If you release too soon, the procees dont end correctly.

Uhm ... OMG.

Thank you so much! I have clicked everywhere on and around the R-828 panel but I couldn't find that damn tiny button, lol. (but I knew that it must have been there ... at least I know that I DID manage to hit it in the past ... :o)

Case can be closed. PEBKAC.
