JuggernautOfWar Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 My DCS World is in Steam, along with all of my Steam purchased modules. I got a "60% off any DCS module" purchase coupon along with my TrackIR 5 in the mail. I'm wondering how to use this coupon to buy the Huey module and have it all work in the same client. Thanks a bunch!
cichlidfan Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 The only solution, that allows the use of the coupon, is to no longer use Steam and just install DCS World, and your modules, from ED. Keys newly purchased from ED will not work on Steam, and Steam will not honor your coupon. JuggernautOfWar Posted July 15, 2014 Author Posted July 15, 2014 So I can still use all the modules I've purchased through Steam in the ED DCS World download? To get this working I need to uninstall Steam DCS, install ED DCS client, and then buy Huey from the ED store?

TimeKilla Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 I had a coupon when my first got TrackIR but lost it as at the time there was no system for using them against DCS products still tear the house apart looking for it. :joystick: YouTube :pilotfly: TimeKilla on Flight Sims over at YouTube.
jcookeusa Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Just curious: Does anyone know whether all new purchases of TrackIR 5 will come with this coupon? I'm pretty tempted to pick up the TrackIR for DCS and X-Plane, but a 60% off coupon for any DCS module would certainly sway me :) ($24-$30 off of a new module price, such as FW-190 or F-86?) I'm wondering since it isn't mentioned on the NaturalPoint site. (Maybe I'll just ask NaturalPoint directly.) Thanks! Justin

TheFace Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 I got one from Amazon that did have the coupon about a month ago. I cannot, however, get the coupon to work. It has either 0 or O in the code and I have tried both. Supposedly there used to be an issue with these coupons not working, but the threads I have seen said the issue was resolved in September of 2013. I have a support ticket in right now (I really want to use it on the Sabre module).
Jumbik Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Maybe the problem is in the fact that the Sabre is marked as a New module and discounts do not apply to it? Do, or do not, there is no try. -------------------------------------------------------- Sapphire Nitro+ Rx Vega 64, i7 4790K ... etc. etc.
