This is so ugly...

How to correct this?

Maybe texture could do some change? have some grass/mud painted on it where it connects with ground. Seems so out of place... thickness 0

The lighting could be adjusted via shader file so it's not so bright during dusk/dawn, i'll take a look at this.

Hello again, this is the texttura, I hope you like it, is the one I use now.

 

Unzip and add it to LandTextures.zip file located in:

 

DCS World \ Bazar \ Terrain \ vfstextures

 

This looks very nice, and in combination of a shader edit (fence.fx) the lighting strength can be reduced so at dawn and dusk so it doesn't look as if it's glowing in the dark :)

Here is another idea, i've re-used Kuky's barbed wire texture and adapted it to be used in place of the concrete wall texture.

edit: i have attached texture for testing, extract zabor1.bmp.dds and place it into LandTextures.zip.

 

One more thing to note, the texture is best seen when using either Adaptive or Super Sampling AA on your graphics card, with multisampling the texture may disappear at a distance.

Just a quick question.

What is the best way to incorporate this texture in dcs if I already use something like the low and slow terrain mod? I use JGSME to install them both but as they both alter the landtextures.zip file one overwrites the other how can I use both of them together using JSGME? Without having to copy it into the actual landtextures.zip in the dcs world folder?

better than the wall , good idea and fix.
