Furious Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Could we please please please have an assignment for this selector knob, as changing from missiles to guns in the middle of a fight is a royal pain in the ass.:(
Basco1 Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Yes,agreed, fiddling for that small switch way down on the console sucks  Chillblast Fusion Cirrus 2 FS Pc/Intel Core i7-7700K Kaby Lake CPU/Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 1070 G1 8GB/Seagate 2TB FireCuda SSHD/16GB DDR4 2133MHz Memory/Asus STRIX Z270F Gaming Motherboard/Corsair Hydro Series H80i GT Liquid Cooler/TM Warthog with MFG 10cm Extension/ Thrustmaster TPR Pendular Rudder Pedals/TrackiR5/Windows 11 Home

Maico249th Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 Yes,agreed, fiddling for that small switch way down on the console sucks  Especially when you are being attacked. It makes the difference between live and die for me.
-MadCat- Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 After some more fun with the Dora, I most likely will go back to the Sabre to edit more commands in the default.lua that you then can assign in game just as normal. Will post them in this thread then. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=125245 Greetings MadCat Link -> Stateful button commands for many DCS modules
LiveBait Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 It is crucial to be be able to swap easily between missiles and guns in a dogfight. Losing sight of your enemy while you try to to mouse over a knob and click on it, often ends in a 'where did he go' moment, only to find him on your six shortly after (or hiding behind the compass :D ). This, in my opinion, is a high priority, unlike the lighting dials................... Don't get me wrong, every switch / knob / dial / button in the cockpit should have its own keyboard assignment. Individuals can then decide what they want to use within their home pits. This then allows a better level of immersion that these high fidelity sims deserve.
-MadCat- Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 As promised, I added lots of stateful commands for the F-86F. See here, post #3: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2080299#post2080299 @ Furious: You will find the desired commands unter "Armament Safety Selector" Hope this helps!:) Greetings MadCat 1 Link -> Stateful button commands for many DCS modules

Devrim Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 MadCat; Do you have Mi-8 module? Some "Engine Start" buttons are missing, and we need "Rotor Brake" and "Radar Altimeter Power" commands. Do you have time to look at these? :bounce: Intel i7-14700@5.6GHz | MSI RTX4080 SuperSuprimX | Corsair V. 64GB@6400MHz. | Samsung 1TB 990 PRO SSD (Win10Homex64) Samsung G5 32" + Samsung 18" + 2x8"TFT Displays | TM Warthog Stick w/AVA Base | VPC MongoosT-50CM3 Throttle | TM MFD Cougars | Logitech G13, G230, G510, PZ55 & Farming Sim Panel | TIR5 & M.Quest3 VR >>MY MODS<< | Discord: Devrim#1068
