Somehow if i choose cold start or any mission with engine off i can't move throttle even with lock off. In missions with engine already running it works like it should. Using X52 pro throttle. Anyone having similar problem?

Also can't figure out how to map elevator trim to one of the trim wheels of X52. I use them with P-51D but can't remember how i assigned them.

Try hitting either home or end before you move the throttle. You have to put it in the idle position before it will move. I changed my keybinding for it so I am not sure what button it actually was.

Can't help you with the throttle because I use a Warthog which has its own workaround. I set the trim buttons with Dx and I'm not sure its going to work on a wheel like the P51.

The elevator trim is a 2-way switch in the Dora. Won't really map to a rotary in your X-52 unless you split the rotary into bands i.e. 0-33% elevator trim down, 34-65% does nothing and then 66-100% elevator trim up.

You could map them to an axis in the P51 as the trims in the Mustang were actual trim wheels and not switches.

You have to press right alt + home (not sure) to set throttle to idle. You can't do it with your joystick.

Thanks for the answer guys! Works fine now.

That makes sense, stupid me

I mapped it to button 24/26 (finger switch) and works great now, thank you!

Maybe so but that is still a bug.

Why would you not be able to map a button on your joystick to that?

I think he meant you can't do it with an axis, rather than a button.

My link is to a great mod that does enable you to map it to an axis. Not sure if it will work with the X55, but it'll show where the changes have to be made.

Fixed it with my Warthog.

Change the throttel axis to Slider and 100%.
