effte
According to the -1, the limit airspeed for opening the canopy without structural damage is 215 KIAS. In the sim it blows off clean at around 170-180 KIAS. SgtPappy
Also, there's a placard limit in the plane for flap and gear extension at no more than 187 knots. I think the flaps are unaffected by this for now.
Machalot
Bump. There is a placard in the cockpit that has an airspeed limit printed on it. The canopy is ripped off the jet well below the indicated speed. There should also be margin built into the limit, so if the correct value from the -1 is implemented, the canopy should not rip off at 1 kt above that limit. "Subsonic is below Mach 1, supersonic is up to Mach 5. Above Mach 5 is hypersonic. And reentry from space, well, that's like Mach a lot."

[MVP] Mugga
The canopy will depart the aircraft at around 150kts. I have an original F-86F Sabre placard and it has a speed of 215kias on it. Like others, I enjoy rolling the canopy back for landing, but you have to be careful, as moving it aft results in a significant trim change which brings the nose up!
