Hi all.

this is my first post, and i hope i can raise enough voices to make the dream come trough.

 

i would love some more maps on this game, i am in particular into Afghanistan or iraq, i would love to go nuts in campain editor,and make the most awesome counter isis al qaida etc, campains and missions, i know theres a nevada map out there, i just cant find it.

 

for now ill try my dreams in the map we got, hopefully you will se me posting some new missions / campains in the future, further more ill soon start up my own home cockpit project,when the wife is molded in to shape :music_whistling:.

 

 

Further more im looking for a Clan / squad with some sim freaks as my self, i miss some coop and TS action, formation time etc.

 

hope to hear from some of you out there. see you in the skyes.

Noone is developing maps for this over 10 years old engine.

 

A new IG is coming (called "EDGE") in future and after that Nevada will be released - and hopefully much more maps by 3rd-party-devs - if a SDK will be made available.

Raising voices is not enough - that was tried already countless times. :o)

 

The thing is, it is a very laborous task and DCS is not really prepared for adding new maps either. At least not until DCS 2.0 is released, with EDGE implemented. There are already some announcements for new maps, but no Middle Eastern ones so far (iirc). There will be new maps, I am sure, but besides Nevada (which isn't released yet, either) it will probably take some time untill we get them.

i strongly recommend using the search function for maps.

 

anyway, the current one is the only one, and ED is working on a nevada map (nellis AFB, test range and vegas :D ) and a WWII setting normandy map.

 

VEAO has some plans for maps, check their subforum for more detail ;)

@OP - Research and Development takes an extremely long time. I have a feeling that we're almost there so we just gotta be patient. Look how it was for the planes......years of drought and now they're popping up faster than mushrooms.
