I don't know if this has been requested before, but I would love to see separate tabs on the kneeboard!

As it is now we often have to scroll though loads of pages to get to that one page of interest.

My suggestion would be to add either fixed or user configurable tabs such as:

- VFR map

- aircraft procedures (normal and emergency)

- aerodrome charts

- navigation aides

- threat charts (encyclopedia?)

- etc.

When the kneeboard is made interactive as I propose, this would allow us to better organize the info and to use it in a much more effective way.

Is there any info whether the kneeboard will change in DCS 2.0?

i would love to see a function, where you can "paint" your desired flight routes into the kneeboard.where it then shows the distances and angles/tracks in degrees, so that you actually can do a interactive flight route planning.

pretty much like what you can do in clod.i think thats a really neat feature.

Anyone know if the kneeboard pages are dynamically loaded or loaded at startup? I'm not at my gaming rig at the moment so I can't check.

There will always be bugs. If everything is a priority nothing is.

I also hope that all I have to do is just click extract it auto-loads to a DCS App in Tablet just simple use and function.

Also where you can add heaps of PDF's so on various Air Craft start-up sequence and SOP, Air Base charts you name it.

Although I also want better in game one as well.

We are giving heart failure to these developers every week some really great ideas and thoughts coming through.

I just want to be able to own this.............. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2167496&postcount=106 .........in near future...........

Cheers.

A very cool thing to use is VoiceAttack. When I am in the pit I just say "airport" to open my kneeboard. I say "go" and it begins to flip the pages one at a time every 1 and a half seconds. when I see the page I want I say "stop". I say "airport" again to close the kneeboard. It's also quite handy for all of the radio commands. One can also use THIS MOD to customize the kneeboard content.

I support this request for tabs on the kneeboard. IRL you could have cardboard tabs in a folder or just flick over a bunch of pages at a time if you have a rough idea where the page you're looking for is.
