UPD: Currently the stats should work consistently (if there are no bugs left :) )

Basic things like takeoffs, landings, crashes, deaths, air/ground kills and flight time should work as well. Rest in progress.

just flew roughly 2 hours ... tracked only 24min and the groundkills ... (it either didnt track the airtoairkills or i shot these planes down after the statstracking stopped)

btw ... please delete the groundunits ... whenever somebody attacks groundtargets, the fps drop for all players ... like real hard ... i go from about 60 to 12-25 fps

(seems to be not so hard when germans atack groundtargets .... its worse when spits and Pifty1s go A2G

 

until this isnt fixed from EDs side, it makes absolutely no sense to leave them in

@Eekz Will you be posting the October results table?

 

The is a problem. When we moved to new stats it became impossible to view them on web due, but they are saved in database backup and Vortex said it's possible to get them. So I hope yes. But not 100% sure.

awesome thanks ... you might wanna try to put some clouds back in ;) ... would add a lot to immersion ...especially if there are no groundunits.

 

btw, i think there are still some inconsistencies concearning the stats tracking .... i flew for something like 56min or so and scored 5 kills (according to ingame playerlist)

in the =BS=statspage it counts only 4 (i had 1 before start and 5 after the sortie)and told me that i had 2 "unarmed" planes ... like killed on the ground.

thing is ... i didnt shot any plane on the ground in this sortie. ;)

maybe that helps u searching at the right spot. :thumbup:

Players who disconnected are counted as an AI kill (ground kill) at the moment. Not sure if we can do anything about that as the kill event with such players does not contain any info on the killed player (as he has already disconnected) and DCS itself handles the kill event as if it was AI kill, but we'll try. I have an idea which needs to be checked.

have 6 take offs since new stats, they ended ones my dead without enemy action and 5 times landings at A/B from i took off

 

new stats says 6 TOs with results :

three times "Landed at airfield",

ones "Crashed" that is true

ones "Emergency landings", what is that?

 

How is this counted?

Oh! That's cool that FLANKERATOR has the data. No need to ask Vortex to pull it from DB backup :)

 

Update:

Currently it's a test time. Stats can be reset many times. I guest we will start 'official' season from 1st of January just to make sure that everything is polished.

 

We are working :)

How is this counted?

landed at airfield - has +1 if you have active flight and landed at airfield

crashed - has +1 if you have active flight and landed out of airfield, died or ejected

emergency landing - has +1 if you landed out of airfield (landing event produced no airfield name).

 

crashed is calculated in this way because currently this event can be generated if you change slots as far as i remember (need to rechek it) in order to avoid +1 crashes on slot changing.

 

also we are currently checking new stats event handling code to make sure that there is no bugs.

someething still isnt tracked correct... some days ago i made some flights and i always returned to my airfield and in the stats i just had takeofs .. like 6 , and only 1 landing ...

 

btw ... im fine with starting on january with the official stats ... i crashed twice yesterday ... once in the water and once at the cliffs ;)

Some info on our progress:

1. Stats. Currently down. We are looking and fixing above mentioned bugs. As soon as main issues are fixed we'll reset stats and run it again.

2. I've added a wip mission with changed ground targets in order to test if there will be lag on attack of this targets. They are infantry. Infantry is good for few reasons: they are hard to kill with machine gun as you need perfect aim and on the other hand is easy to kill with explosives. Also dead infantry does not produce smoke which i believe cause lag.

If you guys could kill some infantry and check whether it causes any lag it would much appreciated.

i attacked some infantry yesterday.(got like 10 on blueside in a p51 and about "only" 3 in the 109)

there was no compareable lag .. though i have to say , it felt a little "skippy" while the units were walking.

generally i would say its ok with the soldiers from the performanceside

Good to hear. I will add things to the mission one by one in order to no skip something that may affect performance. Going to add some updates today.

 

On stats side, currently kills (both air and ground) and flight time and pilot's deaths should work correctly for players' profiles. Landings, and Aircraft stats are currently something we are looking into.
