LcSummers Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Hello Devs, bought Mig 21, installed it and and registered the new module. I can see the serial in the module manager. The problem for me is, when i start a mission or training mission, i get an outside view of an aircraft. I cant jump into the cockpit. Only outside view. I have made a repair, registered Mig 21, but no success. Do you have any advise for me, where or what i have done wrong? Thanks LC

I had the same problem and needed to activate the Mig module, despite I could see the serial in the modul manager, like you. Dolphin887 Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 It is unclear what you exactly did so far, and in what order. You can't enter the cockpit because the DCS engine can't see your human module. Try this: - make sure DCS is not running, - execute Start -> All programs -> Eagle dynamics -> DCS -> Repair DCS World, (wait until it finishes), - execute Start -> All programs -> Eagle dynamics -> DCS -> Update DCS World, (latest version is 1.2.10.32095.521, wait until it finishes), - try 21. If it does not work: - make sure DCS is not running, - open X:\Users\YOUR NAME HERE\Saved Games\DCS\Scripts, - copy your Export.lua and send it in your next message. - open X:\Users\YOUR NAME HERE\Saved Games\DCS\Logs, - zip all the files there and send them in your next message. LcSummers Posted September 18, 2014 Author Posted September 18, 2014 Do you have any mods installed ? I read somwhere in the forum that some mods can distort the installation. First install was without mods and i activated the module ( no cockpit), then with mods, no ckp, so i made a repair, no cockpit, even without mods.

Tried first mission, no cockpit, so i enabled it under DCS World/Mods/aircraft/MiG-21BIS/bin. Edited September 23, 2014 by LcSummers

Do you have 64bit Windows? If so - what version? Are you perhaps running the DCS under the Compatibility mode?
