Tread_Head57 Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 When I swich planes after getting shot down, frequently (>70%) the plane I enter immediately loses all power. They were working just fine until I switch to it. Not sure if this is a Mig-21 bug, general DCS bug, or operator error. Any ideas? Thanks.

Chinga Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 I think he is referring to jumping in AI aircraft. Happens to me also.
Revan Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 never happened to me before. DCS: F-4E really needs to be a thing!!!!!! Aircraft: A-10C, Ka-50, UH-1H, MiG-21, F-15C, Su-27, MiG-29, A-10A, Su-25, Su-25T, TF-51
GregP Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Yeah I get weird behavior after jumping into a MiG-21 too, for example if the plane I'm jumping into is in afterburner, the afterburner graphic and sound never turn off, even though inside the cockpit I can see that I've disengaged it.

That also happens. To answer previous question, the bug I'm referring to is when jumping into AI aircraft. Since I'm not the only one having this issue, I guess it's a bug.
Dirty Rotten Flieger Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Me too. If I get shot down and try to jump in my wing men's planes, 90% of the time his engine flames out and can't be restarted even if I dive and fan the engine
