sobe Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 I have the TM WH Hotas. I never had any problem with the Hotas or the game. However, today, on a ramp start, the left throttle goes to 60% but the right throttle will only go to 30%. This is the case using both the WH throttle and just the key commands. What is going on? Trackir4 using the latest Trackir 5 software, Win10 Pro [Creator Update] updated from Win7Pro Pro 64Bit, Intel® Core™ i5-2500 3.30 GHz 6M Intel Smart Cache LGA115 , GigaByte GA-Z68XP-UD4 Intel Z68 Chipset DDR3 16GB Ram, GTX MSI Gaming 1060 [6 GB] Video Card, Main Monitor 1 on left 1920x1080 Touchscreen Monitor 2 on right 1920x1080 .
jcbak Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 I have had that happen occasionally in multiplayer. I needed to exit and re-enter a different aircraft. I've never had it happen in single player. Steggles Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 Does the problem only occur in DCS? Check device status and try calibrating it again from device manager to check that the throttle axis still has full range of motion. With my TH WH it always overrides keyboard commands while its active / connected. sobe Posted November 8, 2014 Author Posted November 8, 2014 The device analyzer shows the full range of motion-the same as the left throttle lever. The problem is that this happens even just using the keyboard. All other games are [bMS] are fine. Steggles Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 I plugged and prayed mine and it worked and havnt had any troubles for nearly 18months, yet. Are you using the target software? I've seen threads where target has caused some problems. Apart from that I don't have the knowledge to help you any further. -16AGR- 16th Air Guards Regiment is always looking for pilots - http://www.16agr.com EWRS - Early Warning Radar Script Specs: Gigabyte Sniper Z5-S Intel i5-4670k 3.4GHz OC'd 3.9GHz w/ Thermaltake 120mm Water 3.0 Pro Liquid CPU Cooler 16GB RAM Gigabyte GTX 1080 TM Hotas Warthog: SN: 06976 Saitek Pro Flight Combat Rudder Pedals TrackIR5 with TrackClipPro & Oculus Rift 2x 28" 4k UHD Monitors (3840x2160 each) + 1280x1024
sobe Posted November 8, 2014 Author Posted November 8, 2014 I am not using Target, just the configuration that comes with the game. I tried flying another jet and when I went back to the A10, it still happened. Interestingly, if I begin the jet in flight, the throttles work fine. sobe Posted November 8, 2014 Author Posted November 8, 2014 I am thinking about reinstalling the A10C module. What is the best way to do that? AtaliaA1 Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 Try renaming your saved games DCS folder to DCS1, start a mission and see what happens. ^^ Do that first. It's odd that it works when beginning in flight, as if it loads a different file when this is done. Might be answerable from a tester? This was a Boutique Builder iBuypower rig. sobe Posted November 9, 2014 Author Posted November 9, 2014 To All The pumps were the problem. I was using a new checklist and that item got buried in the part I skipped.
