Well, I tested the power supply on a router that takes the same voltage/amps and it works with the seat's power supply, so it isn't that.

 

That leaves either the seat or the controller unit that may be faulty. :( My assumption is the controller unit (where you can turn the unit off/on and adjust motor power) since my PC wasn't picking up a USB signal from it before it failed totally.

Hm...

Firmware loader doesn't depend on power light and isn't related to force feedback.

Could you please tell me what exactly you do?

It's totally my fault... I read it too fast and had tried trick 1 instead of tip 1. trick 1 is where I had gotten the no force feedback device found message.

 

Once you said this step didn't depend on power I went back and found what you were talking about and read it a bit more carefully.

 

Wonder what caused the firmware to have to be reloaded.... weird.

That happens very rare.

To be honest, I don't know the reason of that issue yet.

At my side that happend a couple of times after using JetSeat in Sound Mode.

Just a quick public post to say what a fantastic service Andrey runs.

Got my JetSeat in London in just under two weeks and I think it`s great.

Any queries I`ve had Andrey has answard them straight away and it works perfectly

The slang term given them by Sabre pilots in Korea I believe.

I`ve heard it mentioned there might be some products on the way and it makes sense the harder they squeeze the more Gs you`re pulling.

Would be another great feedback device.

Because it wasn't wrapped, just taped up box, covered in pictures of tanks and aircraft, there was absolutely no way I could get it past the wife as anything other than what it was intended for. :doh:

Yes, I'd like to support other racing sims in the future. If sim racers start buying JetSeats I would be interested to do that even more :)

 

"Sound mode" supports only stereo input, left and right sides of the seat.

All the 6 vibe zones are accessible via USB only.

 

Shipping to USA may take from 2 weeks up to 2 months. In general it takes about 3 weeks.

Guys, if someone would like to keep the content under the covers, just ask me to turn the box inside out, when you place the order, in the comments field. In such a case you will get a white taped up cardboard box, with no pictures.
