We tried running it trough the DCS Update.exe and the CMD, but it refuses to update. It starts and then promptly shuts down. What could be causing this? No update when I launch DCS and when I run DCS_Updater.exe via CMD it finds 1.2.12 and downloads approx 50% of the update and then shuts down with Windows error message "DCS Updater has stopped working". Dirty Rotten Flieger Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 (edited) Me too, It tries to update everytime I start but get roughly 1/3 way through the download and times out. So I hit cancel , the command window opens for a second and then it launches the game with . The older version. If I try to relaunch it to restart the update it won't try to update. It goes with saying, I am running as admin and without virus software security enabled . What is particularly annoying is that when it was in steam it would updated perfectly. I was forced to uninstall the steam version and re download it at extra cost per gigabyte and it just wont update. Edited January 18, 2015 by Dirty Rotten Flieger
