new guy here. first post. im having the same problem. Updated today and the exact same thing happens to me. doesn't matter if its a clean configuration or loaded down. as soon as I pull back on the stick it wants to roll right. Even when rotating during take off it rolls right. tried it with 2 different joysticks and the keyboard to make sure it wasn't me. As for trimming it was almost impossible

I am having the same issue except mine is rolling to the left from the beginning. This started when I accepted the new update and downloaded today. A quick look at the external view shows the ailerons and horizontal stabs not in a neutral position even prior to start-up. Has something to do with the new update.

Edit: I tried rebooting (Cold Start) no joy. Tried disengaging all CAS. No joy and became almost uncontrollable .

try turning off the stabilizer system......if I remember correctly its RCtrl+1, RCtrl+2, RCtrl+3....pitch, roll, and yaw.....use the F2 view to see if the control surfaces correct themselves...not a fix, but this could narrow the problem down atleast...

It only takes two things to fly, Airspeed and Money.

It's not the joystick. Same problem here.

It happens when starting up cold. Not happening when starting from the air.

Useless to test the issue on instant action intercept mission for F-15C while the issue does not occur.

Turning off any stabilizer system or them all does not fix the issue.

Rebooting won't fix anything. This is payload bug, looks like all missiles on the fuselage count as if they're on one side of the aircraft.

The jet had a Rudder offset when taxing and prior to start up before any control issue appeared for me (prior to last update) . Not sure about aileron or horizontal stabilizer.

Just when I got free time to fly the bird. :(

I'll make further testing.

Same issue here - after the latest update the F-15 rolls to the right:joystick:

happens in instant action(didn't test it in other missions/MP/campaign)

how come the developers didn't notice such an issue?

we need a fix fast!!!!

Here's what I got:

Clear weather (maybe 2m/s wind and 1 or 2m/s turbulence)>Payload: Symmetrical Full of aa Missiles and 3 fuel tanks> All controls axis centered> Take off without flaps> Positive climb> Jet rolls to the right> Climb to 15-20 angels, problem persists.

Then I start shooting the missiles one by one> rolls issue persists without reducing intensity> jet empty of missiles, unwanted roll still there> jettinson those 3 fuel tanks> rolls persists.

The issue does NOT happens on Instant Action's Intercept mission for F-15C.

It MIGHT be something connected to cold start ups. This department I'm not familiar with.

Disabling any stabilizing control; yaw, roll or pitch does not take effect on the issue.

I hope this helps.

Looks more like the hard points are asymmetrical or mixed up anyway.

If I only load on the left side it will roll left and stop once all stations are clear.

But it seems that the launch sequence had an overhaul. Nice! :)

That is one part, the other part is fuel quantity and behavior when loading tanks on the aircraft :)

shift-D shows zero quantity per external tank and the totalizer appears to not add the tank quantity either (shows 13500), but if you drop the tanks your fuel total is reduced.

Yeah. Noticed that dumping external tanks apparently throws the internal fuselage tank overboard. :D

Anyway, did a little testing and the wing stations for missiles and the centerline tank does not apply any roll.

But the fuselage missile stations and the wing tank stations are mixed up somehow.

I don't have any probs in clean config, nor after unloading everything.

Same problem here, with or without payload the jet rolls to the right.

Ailerons and rudder are in neutral position and it's not from the stick either.

I tried the instant action and map editor or loading custom missions.. the result it's the same the jet loves to roll right.

I guess it's a module problem or most probably some "update" to the f 15 because the Su 25t does not have this problem. I'm gonna try other planes but i'm sure that they are fine.

The F-15c is grounded until the next update :( it's impossible to bleed incoming missiles with this roll

They also fixed the aerial refueling bug which could have possibly triggered the fuel tank bug.

I can disagree about that.. The f15 did need re-work.. Launch sequence for missiles were jacked, Issues on the ground where the plane thought it was yawing and applying full rudder, aoa issue, Horrible flight char above fl25, and a slew of other things..

I honestly hope this is not the "we don't want to mess with released modules and sick of people complaining its screwed up, so we will mess it up worse, that way people stop complaining about minor bugs in fear of having the whole thing screwed to the point of unflyable.." Not saying this is the case but truly look at the current situation those bugs are hard to miss.

So with that you guys and can think I'm going back to my corner with my tin foil hat on..

Well they didn't work on ANY of that. Between this and the last patch, there were no noticeable changes to the F-15 other than what they screwed up, and with the last patch they did manage to update the APU sound without incident. If they had actually done something to improve the F-15 and circumstantially screwed these things up, that'd be one thing. But it seems apparent that they didn't touch the F-15 itself and whatever else they were working on in DCS screwed it up. Also, nobody said "don't update the F-15 ever because you'll make it unplayable with minor bugs." So yeah, you can go back to your corner with your tin foil hat because that's not an issue.

The really stupid thing is that this was in Open Beta, I saw people reporting it so I assume they knew about it, and they still pushed it to release without fixing it first. You can forgive me for expressing my dismay.

And FYI: the rudders are moving because CAS is responding to wind. It has no practical effect.
