That's the harrier jet that unfortunately has yet to be heard of since DCS A-10C times...

If you want to talk to anyone about anything personal, send it to their PM box. Interpersonal drama and ad hominem rebuttal are things that do not belong on a thread viewed by the public.

One thing i have to point out... naming a thread.. "OK, so" is as useful as tits on a bull.

On hold because of the issue with coding VTOL AFAIK (please correct me if I am wrong, was sure I read that before).

Apparently the current engine just cannot take it well enough to simulate it at a high standard.

(Please note I may be way off here but that is what I though I heard way back when!)

Actually the DCS engine is more than up to the task otherwise we wouldn't have the excellent Shark, Huey and MI-8 helicopters..

It was MS Flight Simulator that did not have adequate fidelity to pull off a decent Harrier.. Not sure why Razbam has decided to stall this module but DCS fidelity is NOT the reason..

Absolutely correct. The DCS API tools that are available to the general public (no NDA required) are more than enough to implement your own realistic harrier VTOL physics. You have to write it all from scratch though.

damn thats a shame, what a sim it would be! i'd take that or an apache in a heart beat! or an f117 or b2, long overdue for a sim with one of those! i miss janes us navy fighters, even if it werent an "accurate sim", all the replay value came from the horde of planes and weapons available!
