Stevos758 Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Hey guys, Getting a new CNC next week and will be able to do metal. A little something I will be making as soon as I get acquainted with the machine. Now to find a way to bend the pipe for the heli cyclic! Facebook Ripp's Garage Tech LLC
Deadman Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 What size pipe? if your looking at 3/4 you might be able to use a conduit bender depending on your radius. https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.

I was planning on 1" but 3/4 might be the ticket. Have some powered conduit benders at work.... Good plan! Facebook Ripp's Garage Tech LLC

agrasyuk Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Nice shop there . and i see 2 very familiar air compressors on this pic: http://rippsgaragetech.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/2014-09-22-20.49.56-366x206.jpg curious what device where these salvaged from. (I'm using one of these for laser air assist) As far as thread milling ... I think you just hurt my religious beliefs a little. But I guess whatever gets the work done :) Anton. My pit build thread .
