Vinny002
Hi, guys! I did some tests the other day and yesterday. I let the dcs world running with the uh-1h huey for about 20 hours and 10 minutes or 1,210 minutes, the dcs world has stopped working with the error message, then yesterday, I let the dcs world running with the a-10c for about 20 hours 52 minutes and 55 seconds or 1,252 minutes and 55 seconds and the dcs world is still running great with the a-10c. It sounds like the dcs world has stopped working only when using the helicopters. Any idea why is that? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
benargee
Don't play DCS for 20 hours? Saying that it happened once when playing 20 hours doesn't show consistency. You would have to try it multiple times with helicopters to come to any real conclusions. Also, you said it happened with the Huey. To say it only happens with helicopters while only trying one is a bold statement. You would have to try all planes and all helicopters for endurance plays to come to a real conclusion. Vinny002
Hi, guys! I have the dcs world running with the P-51 and the Mig-21 for 2 days or more except the dcs world running with helicopters which it runs for only about 20 hours. Does the helicopters have any bugs which keep it from running for over 20 hours? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent

Did the Mig-21 run also more than one time for 20h? You have to make several re-runs to say there is a problem. Because the UH-1 module crashed only one time in 20 hours you simply can not imply there is a problem with helicopters. We know nothing about your PC specs... Maybe it was simply a problem of your PC (overheating, memory issue, HDD read/write error, task switching...). For this reason, most people use servers to keep games running several days. BitMaster
Please check your PC and especially RAMs if they can take the stress, many PCs fail after many hours of high CPU and RAM usage. Reasons are usually: Dirty Fans Dust-blocked cooling fins on CPU Dust clogged VGA cards ( dismantle them and clean them ) Low grade or dying PSU with non-stable Voltages Faulty or damaged drivers ( chipset, VGA, ICH ) Does your PC take 48h of high-stress Prime95 on maximum heat settings ?? Does your PC run memtest for 48h without a single glitch ?? MANY standard PCs fail those tests for many reasons, most of them are HEAT !!
