Has anyone else experienced this? I have all sounds set to 90% except for helmet sounds at 60% and music at 0%. I start up the engines and close the canopy. The second my wheels start to roll there is a defening sound which I can only assume should be the wheels rolling on the tarmac but it is so loud that I am forced to quickly turn off my speakers.

Has anyone else had this happen?

Do You have any sound mods installed? I recall a post somewhere here, where it was discovered that one of Diveplane's mods for WWII birds inadvertently messed up sounds in one of newer aircraft and I think it was the Sabre.

I do have the FW-190 and Bf-109 sound mods installed. I'll try disabling those and see how that goes. Thanks for the suggestion!

EDIT: I just disabled them and you were right on the money. Problem is gone now. Sad, because I really liked those sound mods and it was the first ones I really liked.

Rep inbound!

Go through the mod files and find:

Fw 190 D-9 Dora Audio 3.0\Sounds\Effects\Aircrafts\PlaneMoveCpt.wav

&

Fw 190 D-9 Dora Audio 3.0\Sounds\sdef\Aircrafts\PlaneMoveCpt.sdef

Change the extension to .bak or remove those files and that rolling noise should disappear and you can still enjoy the rest of the mod. Repeat for 109 files if needed.
