As long and Windows thinks "it's a proper display", you should have no problems placing a uMFCD there. Has anyone else had problems with dragging it to a USB display? I have tried dragging to other monitors and it's fine but will not drag to a display link display... I have tried a Lilliput and double sight and can't get it to work... Am I doing something wrong or does it not support use displays... Other than that it's a great product... I can drag to any other monitor except those.. When I drag to them my mouse pointer shows up on the display but whatever I try to drag to them disappears and then shows back up once I move it to a standard monitor... One other question is the A-10 UHF repeater export supposed to export the UHF display? I do not get any export for that when checking or unchecking that box.... Thanks for your help.. Sgt_Baker Posted May 23, 2015 Author Share Posted May 23, 2015 The issue here is quite likely to be that the USB monitors are in no way hardware accelerated by any graphics hardware. UltraMFCD's display are all rendered in full-3D DirectX, so likely only work on hardware connected to a dedicated graphics card. UHF Repeater - my mistake. deadzone Posted May 23, 2015 Share Posted May 23, 2015 Hello, Following deactivation of internal screens your software is now functional and shows well on my MFCD remote screen but I now have a latency that I had with the previous version and it is rather annoying to use precision weapons . One thing I did notice was that with a touchscreen, if I press one of the OSBs, it gets clicked several times. Also it still has the bug where if you hold down a button and slide your finger off (or with a mouse), it stays pressed and you get the MFCD key stuck error message. I don't have any touchscreens with which to test at the moment, but once uMFCD goes on sale, the proceeds will be used to purchase such hardware at the earliest opportunity. The umfcd export clock for instance goes usually skips 1 to 3 seconds as it is not being refreshed meanwhile. Same for TAD and same for any reaction after I press any mfcd button. It takes seconds for any reaction. Can I reduce that time to update the frame? Double-clicking the CDU's screen will show/hide the keyboard. When the keyboard is hidden, the text area can be moved and resized just like any other export. Unfortunately it's very difficult to determine exactly /why/ any given driver affects standard DirectX operations when its bugged. If nVidia aren't already in the process of releasing a fix for this bug, I suppose we'll have to start bothering them in the near future. :) I jusst went back to NV driver v. 347.52, and everything is fine at a first glacne. As it so happens I began accumulating basic flight experience in the KA-50 just this afternoon. Managed to land on top of a tall block of flats (veeeeery carefully), so all that ancient Helo experience hasn't atrophied completely! Learning the aircraft fully is essential to being able to implement its exports in a useful manner, you see. Wow, a drag-able kneeboard. That is awesome. For me and KA-50 use (using a left-hand monitor) this plus working controls indicator will make it perfect for my use. Once the full release is done for A10C and KA50 is there any chance of adding support for other aircraft or rotary wings?
