Hi I just bought the Mi8 and have been having a problem or two.

- Upon liftoff the hell starts spinning to the left. Annoyingly.

- The back part comes off.

Any help? Thanks

I should apologize. I was being sarcastic, but I'm guessing you're new to helicopter flight dynamics? It would be best to watch some YouTube videos where the guy shows control positions.

Also, with helicopters the joystick and throttle quality are important. Keyboard and mouse is incredibly hard.

Trim your stick back and to the right before raising collective. Also make sure the brake is on as it helps a little, left shift + W

JakeMe, You can use autopilot yaw channel to do the compensation job for You.

But then, because of some quirks about autopilot vs. rudder trim operation, You will still have to do some youtube watching and manual reading to learn how to use the yaw channel correctly.

This could be pilot error but I'd add that awhile ago I had some form of game data corruption that caused my MI-8 to spin at such extreme speed that the machine would rip itself apart, no amount of rudder could correct this and the problem would even happen in air starts with 150km/h or more forward speed. Removing and reinstalling DCS solved the issue.
