Possible to create different aircraft in flight group?

Using the editor I see how to create a flight group of say 3 other a10's in my flight group, but can't find a way to mix the planes, so in my flight group I'd like an a10, f86, and black shark helicopter. Is this possible?

You can do this with ground units though.

No, a flight of aircrafts, unlike a group of vehicles consists of similar aircraft in DCS.

Even large planes (transport, tanker, AWACS) can not be "grouped". They always are single objects.

There is an advanced task in the menu "Escort" or "Follow" that can be used to combine larger wings.
