IvanK Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Seems to me the Prop governor is overly sensitive to damage. On pretty much 80% of occasions when I receive hits the prop governor fails.

Anatoli-Kagari9 Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Believe this plagues all of the ww2 modules in DCS... Started with the p51d.... Flight Simulation is the Virtual Materialization of a Dream...
ED Team NineLine Posted April 24, 2015 ED Team Posted April 24, 2015 Collect some tracks, preferable small ones, so the devs don't need to sit there for an hour to see the event. I honestly haven't seen this in the German aircraft compared to the P-51, but that might just be me. As for where you are getting it, its possible the bullets are passing through your aircraft, or the the fact on how the damage is displayed is leading you to believe where you got hit isnt actually where you got hit. It could also be an issue with the damage model in that the damage is linked up wrong, for example I reported an issue a while back where you hit the P-51 mid fuselage and the damage showed on the spinner. So yes, when reporting something like this, try including a track to compare to. Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
Ultra Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 I experience prop gov failure in the P-51 VERY frequently when taking fire. I don't know if this is correct or incorrect though.
