Hello guys I am making a cost effective panel system that makes it easer for people to afford to build there own cockpit.

 

The panels do not have back lighting. panels are drilled for small switches that are more affordable. The holes are easily drilled out to accept larger switches.

 

I will sell just the cover (engraved) part for 60% of list price

I can do request for other cockpit panels, or just special engraving for a button box name tags exc... but will take time to design and make. I charge by the letter ($0.08) + area of material. Chose from a array of colures, cover and letter.

This is a very good idea I think, making engraved panels is the hardest bit (and the "face" of the pit so to speak). Switches and wiring you don't see.

 

I like to eventually get something like this, but I don't know for what aircraft yet and when I will do it :(

Hay Flim Yes I am still flying. Our website is on enjin now but I still own the old one as well. just Google dcs mercenaries and you will find us.

 

@ Lobinjaevel The F-18 is on the list as the next one to make panels for. It has less to make than the A10C.

I had several request before the new year I ran into a problem with a mouse in the CNC PC. I just built a new PC for the CNC and set it all up. should be all ready to go. What I will do is make some panels and show what I have ready to sell. I will make a go at some panels this weekend. I will start by making 3 of each.

Do you mind updating us with a list of what you offer? I'd be more interested in a cdu or ufc box. Armament control panel for might 21 and ins panel on the mirage. Are any of these possible?

That would be in the 10% I will have to design and build a circuit board that I can repeat build and have it work with a IO card or 2 of some sort. I am working on a UFC witch is mostly done.
