I am having a problem getting off the ground after a cold start. I have followed the step by step start up procedure as described in a number of YT videos and all master caution lights are off and gauges read as they should specifically the throttle is at full power with governor engaged and the gauge is in the green band. When I increase the collective there is no lift and the chopper stays on the ground. At full collective the RPM drops as load is put on the motor and I get the RPM warning.

If I start a mission from the runway with the start up already completed and engine running I have no problem with the collective providing lift for the aircraft as expected. I would greatly appreciate if anyone can suggest what I can try to resolve this problem.

Is that a stock mission? Did you may change load out or put the helicopter in a veeery high region?

Next please look at the collective in game, does it move when you pull your joystick axis assigned to the collective? If not, check the control setup has the correct axis assigned or may be two axis on different controllers assigned to the collective (pedal brakes come to mind).

It sounds like you may have selected "Inverted" in your key binding for the collective.

Thanks guys I was in the process of making a track file as Bignewy suggested and when I got to the bit where I pull on the collective it worked as expected and I was flying. Got no idea what I was doing wrong when I was reported the issue but it looks like it all works fine now.
